Why Missions?
The Answer: Quite simply, the great commission.

We are commanded to go and make disciples of all nations. People need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christ tells us that "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man approaches the father except by me." That means that we have the answer. It is our responsibility to provide this answer to the questions all men ask, "Why am I here?" We are meant to have a relationship with God, and that relationship can only occur through the work of Christ on the cross! This message must be spread to all peoples.

Mission's has become a passionate cause of mine. Having taken trips overseas and to Mexico, and having traveled with music groups to minister in literally hundreds of churches, ministry and missions have been a high priority. After getting married, my wife and I started attending a church that was very mission-minded. Missionaries frequently visited, and updates were always distributed. I had the privilege of getting to know a couple missionaries quite well. A couple years ago, a good friend was called to the mission field. In seeing his experience, and the communications with others in the field, I saw the need that existed, but I didn't really know what I could do.

Then I was exposed to the media center of a mission agency on the east coast, where they produce various media productions both for their missionaries, as well as for the mission administration. I thought "This is it. That's with I want to do! I could do what I loved and was good at, at the same time, serving the Lord!".
